This has been the busiest weekend we have had in a while. Jared pretty much worked for the radio station all weekend. Thank goodness he is taking time off after this week!!!
I also had lots to do!! Saturday morning I ran my very first half-marathon! It was tough but fun, and I am very glad that I did it. Now I would like to do another one, in a few weeks that is. My muscles need a rest first.
After the race, I drove an hour and a half to Spartanburg to my dad's family Christmas. Although I was exhausted, I am very glad that I went. It was nice to see aunts, uncles, and cousins that I do not see very often.
After that party, I drove back home to attend another Christmas party!!! Today, I spent the day on the couch!!! Who does not love the holidays?

Thanksgiving
Jared and I are heading to Kansas City on Tuesday to celebrate Thanksgiving with his family. I am very excited to see Josh and Sarah (brother and sister-in-law) because we do not get to see them very often. We are also going to be spending this time with Jared's mom and dad. What a cool thing that when you get married, you gain even more family. Since I am such a huge family person, this is great for me. It is exciting for me, but even more exciting for Jared because he will get to see Josh. They have a great relationship and will treasure the time together. I am also a big fan of Sarah and look forward to spending time with her. I know that it will be a relaxing time for amazing food and fun. Really a time to give thanks. Happy Thanksgiving to all!!
